Life at APS
Our vision of education is holistic development of a child that includes regular and rigorous training sessions of music, sports, dance, art and craft in sync with world standards. We believe that only books cannot enlighten you because sometimes-real lessons are learnt on playground or even during a music jam.
We at APS have introduced this concept of online classroom for our blooming kids,that allows participants to communicate with one another, view presentations or videos, interact with other participants, and engage with resources in work groups. We have worked systematically to make the educative process more participative and enjoyable.
The school has activity rooms for music, dance and other extra-curricular activities. The main concept of this room is to reward good behavior and incorporate physical activity into the school day. The rooms are designed in such a way that students can equip themselves in various activities like dance, music, arts and craft etc.
Access to computer, learning the basic language of it and Internet has become the need of the hour for the tech savvy generation of today and therefore we believe in imparting computer education to this blooming generation. Computer Education is started from the primary classes and is one of the mandatory subjects for all students from Grade 2.
“Paper is too valuable to be wasted” and therefore students are taught various ways of saving them like making use of notebooks till the end, reuse empty pages, reuse paper that has been used only on one side for notepaper etc. Events are held during the year where teachers along with students plant and care for the seedlings they grow.
APS has got 3acres of playground for every sport suiting the students. We have best sports faculty who use their knowledge and expertise to help young talents realize their potential. The impulse to play is innate. Play is a biological and psychological and social necessity, and is fundamental to the healthy development and well-being of individuals and their personalities.
